The Grenfell Tower fire occurred on 14 June 2017 at a 24-storey, 67-metre (220 ft) high tower block of public housing flats in North Kensington, west London, England. At least 30 people died in the fire, with this number expected to rise.
Hundreds of survivors are in need of financial assistance.
Crisis aid has received a direct request for financial help from the victims of the Grenfell tower - fire. We have put together this appeal and we will be handing out financial assistance to the survivors from the fire. Many have donated clothes, food and other items, but the victims are finding it extremely difficult going through the pile of clothes to find that which will fit them. They have requested from Crisis Aid financial assistance to purchase clothes and underwear that will fit them and other basic necessities.
Crisis Aid has been informed from the victims themselves that the borough council is not providing any financial assistance to them at all. So Crisis Aid is filling that void. Please help us by donating generously so we may help these victims today.
